Christmas Celebration at Redwoods page thumbnail

The celebration was led by our Chaplains Drew Walker and Keith Shaw.

Children from Bicton Heath Primary school attended and sang some delightful songs, the poem Talking Turkeys was read by one of our inpatients, by and in memory of Benjamin Zephaniah, who we sadly lost last week.

The Lion Choir

We also had the Sparkly Harmonies choir from Shrewsbury, Welshpool and Oswestry - 40 strong singers with some lovely winter songs emphasising peace, love, joy and health.

Thanks also to our wonderful pianist Steve Tams for accompaniment - a truly joyous event in these troubled times - and thanks to the Centre for delicious mince pies at the end!
