Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust – Arts for Health are looking for freelance artists to help us deliver exciting arts activities and creative delivery of high quality, inclusive engagement, aimed at bringing benefits to our service users, carers and staff.

We are looking for freelance artists to work across a variety of our programmes, with the following skills -

  • A proven track record of delivering workshops and producing participatory artwork
  • Experience or an interest in delivering work on wards, or in healthcare settings
  • Experience of delivering workshops online
  • Experience of working with adults and young people with additional needs and/or adults with mental health difficulties or dementia
  • A passion for creative wellbeing

We would especially love to hear from people who are underrepresented in the arts sector and we are also keen to support any emerging artists who may not have experience, but have an interest in working in healthcare.

Interested? Please email artsforhealth@mpft.nhs.uk, attaching a PDF and CV of up to 4 pages about who you are, what you do and your experience of delivering projects, along with 5 images of participatory work previously undertaken.

Please title the email – Expression of Interest

Please ensure the five images are included in the PDF file and this file is titled with your full name.

Deadline for expression of interest 15 August 2022

We will follow up with everyone who sends an expression of interest.
